PREPARATION and PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY
Dr. Winsome Ionie Kelly, an ordained Minister within the Church of God, hails from the Island of Jamaica with approximately Three and a half decades of sterling Ministry within the Churches of God. She graduated from the Bethel Bible College with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology. She holds a Masters’s degree and a Doctoral degree in Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts, USA.  She endeavored to keep herself current and on the cutting edge of theological pedagogy and Presentation.

PIONEERING AND PLANTING
Dr. Kelly has broken religious and cultural barriers and pioneered the gospel through generations. She stood out as a “firebrand” with the five-fold ministry when Jamaican women were transitioning into ministry and being marginalized. Dr. Kelly historically pioneered uncharted waters within the Church of God and has founded, Planted, and established Churches for the Church of God and assisted other denominations with evangelical ministries that are still vibrant and growing today.

POSITIONING and PARADIGM PATTERNS
Dr. Kelly migrated to the United States, still serving in the Southern New England district of Churches in Massachusetts. She is militantly supported by two of the most renowned Bishops of this region. They are; Bishop Stanley Edwards (English Speaking Church of God) and Bishop Mark Simon French-Creole Church of God). She is ardently loved by the HAITIAN communities and all who have come to be blessed by her ministry. She has birthed many Ministers, pastors and bishops and positioned many for the call of God within the ministry.

Albeit, While serving in Massachusetts, Once again, The LORD spoke to her and commissioned her to pioneer a church plant in Brockton, MA. She founded the Shammah Tabernacle Church of God when the world was experiencing a “great recession,” and many churches and denominations were experiencing the “great breaking away.” Thousands of churches closed their doors, and the church of God lost 3000 churches within this period to the hostility of the times. Nonetheless, Dr. Kelly stealthily surged and hinged the Shammah Tabernacle Church of God through fierce times.

Shammah Tabernacle Church of God is the 2nd Church of God within Plymouth County and the ONLY English-speaking Church of God within this region. It stands alone in a very stubborn stronghold with over 100 years of Roman Catholicism as the leading choice of religious preference, with a majority of over 42% of the populace within this area embracing this form of worship. The area has a robust social demography, with each culture presenting its forms of religious beliefs and practices.  Portuguese, French Creole, Spanish, Vietnamese, French, Greek, African, other Indo-European languages, Chinese, and Korean. Adding to this matrix.

The Brockton community is intertwined with a strong gang and gun culture, riddled with drug addicts and a high level of despair. Albeit, Dr. Kelly sees through a particular renegade and revolutionary precision of faith that this Plymouth County can be infiltrated by the Pentecostal Heritage of the Church of God through the steady, persistent Plowing of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Kelly encapsulates the revolutionizing spirit of Jesus Christ, which is in-sink with the anointing will of God. This unconquerable force still ushers her to “move and keep on moving” for the Church of God. Her sole motto:- “for GOD I Live, and for GOD I die”.. a profound woman of God who is currently the Lead Pastor for the Shammah Tabernacle Church of God.
